I grew up with an excitement of life, appreciation of nature, sensation for the sun and interest in reading and writing. I would escape to secret spots in my house or outside to write in my journal. Something mysterious and meaningful came out of the chosen spot. I would pack a bag, grab my journal or book and climb up the tree. If i wasn’t doodling or drafting, I would write poems. I was very selective with who I shared my poems with, I would only read them at a family members funeral. I felt empowered and in control of my emotions as a child.
As time progressed, I went through school, fell into the stereotypes and started a clique with my two best friends. I lost track of who I was but endured life’s battles with my family and these two strong females. Through my school years I became something that society wanted me to be, not who I wanted to be. After battles, roles and relationships I lost track of who I was.
I am here to start new, fresh and re-channel my childhood interests. I am on a different path and back to who I truly am. I believe we go through life’s struggles and strains to find ourselves and to help others find themselves. This journey has led me to open up myself to the world and release my thoughts, feelings and experiences.
We are all here to love, inspire, grow, learn and teach one another. I am here to impact hearts, embrace nature, explore cultures, benefit Mother Earth and spread universal peace and love.
I hope those who come across my blog or my posts, relate to my experiences, grow from my challenges and find themselves through my passion.
Some may not agree with me, like me, understand me or appreciate my work, but that is life! My blog is open to the public, open to improvement, open to comments and open to your opinion!
